Incorporated in 2010, Spartan became a division of Argo Fine Imports, with a focus on importing forest product substrates for the production of hardwood plywood. Sourced from South East Asia, South America, and West Africa, these products included rotary veneers, platforms, and specialty panels, such as bending panels and panels intended for lamination.
